Sofware Club
Overview
Software Club is a company that offers various studies on key players in the software market to major investment funds, guiding them on the state of the art within an industry.
To strengthen sharing and collaboration with their clients, Software Club partnered with Wolfox agency to propose a redesign of their platform for sharing and consulting their “intelligences”—the term used for the deliverables produced by their experts. To address this need, we organized a two-week Design Sprint to conduct preliminary research and lay the foundations of an MVP (Minimum Viable Product). This aimed to deliver a solution that meets the needs of Software Club’s clients by focusing on the core functionalities of their platform.

Iterations and Testing
During the Design Sprint, wee iterated on several prototypes based on functional scoping, aiming to create an intuitive and efficient platform aligned with user personas.
Two key functionalities were selected:
1. Consultation of Public Intelligences
2. An Event Directory Managed by Software Club
These prototypes were refined over several weeks to realize the potential of the initial product version.
Lighthouse: The Library of Public Intelligences

Key Requirements
• Clarity of Content: Each intelligence must explicitly convey its subject and relevance.
• Effective Indexing: Properly index content for efficient and precise searches.
• Structured Content: Organize content to simplify understanding and data collection by users.
Solutions Implemented
1. Content Clarity: Introduced concise descriptions (“Key Intelligence Learnings”), categorization systems, and update indicators to help users assess relevance quickly.
2. Effective Indexing: Implemented meaningful tagging and advanced search and filtering tools based on content and tags.
3. Structured Content: Designed clear media listings with explicit titles and durations. Ensured non-linear navigation within media, allowing users to jump directly to sections of interest. Media formats include chaptered videos and textual documents with global views.
The Agenda: Core of Software Club’s Events

Identified Needs
• Inform users about upcoming events.
• Allow users to register and follow ongoing events.
• Provide access to results of past events.
Solutions Implemented
• Events Listing Page: Indexed events by theme, date, and type, highlighting events the user is registered for.
• Event Detail Page: Focused on specific events, providing additional information on content and organization.
The Homepage: Central Hub of the Product

Designed to connect all sources of intelligences, highlight new content, and offer personalized recommendations based on user profiles.
Objectives:
• Content Discovery: Provide relevant content quickly to engage users and showcase the platform’s richness.
• User Engagement: Encourage navigation and interaction, increasing the likelihood of continued use.
Outcome
The collaboration between Wolfox and Software Club resulted in a redesigned platform that significantly enhances user experience and operational efficiency. By focusing on user-centered design and establishing a solid MVP, we delivered a product that meets critical user needs and lays a strong foundation for future development.
Key Success Factors:
• Understanding User Needs: Identified through workshops and persona creation.
• Iterative Design and Testing: Ensured the final product was intuitive and effective.
• Workflow Integration: Designed the platform to fit seamlessly into users’ daily routines, maximizing impact and usefulness.
